In comparison with the products already offered, Funcraft provides a unique combination of values.

First, the engine, a Continental O200 or,optionally, a Lycoming O235, are certified aircraft products. These engines have widespread acceptance within the industry, and represents a cost savings due to its proven track record. Time between overhauls generally meets or exceeds two thousand hours (normally 20 years) in comparison, nearly all other manufacturers in this niche use a Rotax product, manufactured under lesser certification standards, costing $3000 less and having a time between overhaul of twelve hundred hours (normally 12 years). Our target market, (those who are already pilots) will prefer and some have insisted on a 'real airplane' engine. These engines have been proven in the Cessna 150/152 trainer series and are known 'bullet proof' power plants.

Second, Funcraft possesses a market advantage in the design arts, having developed several follow-on products to maintain competitive edge.

Third, by utilizing those already in the industry as suppliers of product and marketing, long term maintance is assured and thus, customer acceptance is greatly eased.

Our main line is a steel tube reinforced aluminum, two seat recreational aircraft. Current market value for this product is expected to run at $100 -140k(USD). Visually, current light sport aircraft designs offer a configuration lacking the professionalism of certified aircraft. Family members and friends are sometimes unimpressed by these visual cues and are hesitant, or even refuse to fly.

Funcraft recognizes this very real need of acceptance, and has developed designs utilizing several visual cues from the most popular certified designs.
